Music Transcription and Typesetting Service - Two Minutes of Audio, or Four Pages of Manuscript for $100
Using perfect pitch, I can transcribe music from audio into a professionally typeset score using Sibelius, or alternatively I can typeset music from handwritten manuscript into a printable score of publishable quality. I have been doing this for 12 years, and I have been running my own business, Pitch Perfect Music Services, for 11 of those, during which time I have built up many excellent working relationships with my clients who are all extremely happy with my services. I can provide Sibelius, PDF, XML, WAV or MIDI files, whatever is required. For the work, I use the most recent up-to-date version of Sibelius on my MacBook Pro, a Keystation Mini MIDI keyboard for note input, Transcribe! software, a VEC Infinity 3 foot pedal, an Acer second monitor, an HP bluetooth mouse, and Bose noise cancelling headphones. My transcription process is as follows: I load up the audio file into Transcribe!, open Sibelius, and then using my feet to control the file playback with the pedal, I simply input the notes into Sibelius with the MIDI keyboard; once the notes are all down and proofed, I begin the engraving process, which is to format the layout, add dynamics and articulations, and generally make it look super professional. As for typesetting from handwritten manuscript: I use my second monitor to read from the original score, and simply copy the notes and markings into Sibelius with the keyboard as I read, altering only the layout as necessary and incorporating any changes requested by the sender.
