Hi,

My name is Aaron Cloutier. I'm a guitar instructor with 18 years experience in the field and would be happy to work with you!

ABOUT ME:

I'm a musician, guitarist, vocalist and educator. I work with aspiring guitarists ranging from beginner to advanced ages 10 years old and up.

EXPERIENCE:

Fifteen years of experience as a guitar and voice instructor at the following private music schools: School of Rock, Bach To Rock, In-Tune, Guilderland Music Academy, Kentucky Arts Academy, Encore School Of Music & Arts and more.

I also have an extensive history of private in person as well as remote instruction.

GENERAL TOPICS COVERED

Technique: Down picking, alternate picking, two handed tapping, hybrid picking, soloing, acoustic strumming (and much more.)

Elements of music: Understanding the basics of notes, rhythm, tempo, feel, space and phrasing and how they affect your playing.

Music theory: From rhythmic subdivisions and the circle of fifths all the way up to scales, modes, diatonic harmony and beyond.

Songwriting: From creating basic melodic ideas and riffs all the way up to fully fleshed out compositions, lyrics and arrangements.


Styles include (but not limited to) Metal, Rock, Pop

Tablature and sheet music of all examples covered in lesson in PDF and Guitar Pro formats.

Your questions answered and your playing critiqued by a professional guitarist.



REQUIREMENTS:

A high speed internet connection
A device of some sort (computer, phone, iPad)

OPTIONAL ITEMS
A webcam and microphone
A recording interface
XLR cable for your microphone
Studio grade headphones

RATE:

$80 per 60 minutes for a single lesson.

$45 per 30 minutes for a single lesson.

Lessons can be purchased one at a time or four per month as part of a monthly lesson package. Monthly subscriptions will receive a 10% discount.
