UKE, GUITAR, OR SONGWRITING LESSONS FOR $60 (1 hour)

Learn uke, guitar, or songwriting from an experienced, versatile, patient, highly-attentive teacher who has taught private lessons as well as classes at well-respected music schools, colleges, and universities in CA, NJ, and WA I'm a highly-rated, fully-vetted instructor with affiliations with 2 very well-known lesson-providing companies.

Each lesson is customized to what you want to learn; no cookie-cutter lessons ever. Whether you're an absolute beginner, intermediate or advanced, I can help you to develop your knowledge and skill on uke and guitar. For those just wishing to learn well-known songs by famous artists, I have chord charts ready to go (and quite accurate, too) of over 250 cover tunes spanning the stylistic gamut and across 8 decades .

And for songwriting students, I can teach you the core components, techniques, and structures you'll need as a foundation to write cohesive songs. Or, if you prefer, I can give you specific input to tweak or re-write your song or lyric or music in progress. I always suggest sending me an mp3 of your song or lyric before the lesson so I can assess the best approach.. This will help maximize the lesson time.

What are my teaching qualifications? I'm an award-winning singer- songwriter with several critically acclaimed releases, so I'm not "just a teacher," but an active songwriter/composer who has written in pop, rock, country, blues, jazz, R&B/soul, Latin, Americana, folk, and more. I've also been a guest faculty member for several national songwriting expos.

And as an added bonus to my regular (one-hour per week) students, I'll send you a message with a recap of the lesson highlights along with practice suggestions. This will serve to give you a focus and direction and hopefully provide another inducement to practice. And if you have questions or run into a snag in between lessons, you can send me a note and I always make every effort to respond within 48 hours, usually sooner.

My fee for a one-hour lesson online (via FaceTime, Zoom, or Skype) is $60.00. Other time increments are available; just write me with your preference and request a custom proposal.

The lessons will be on your choice of Zoom, FaceTime, or Skype.
