Original songs are hard to come by. I won't just grab random loops and stock sounds that have been used in every production. Every good song begins with a plan. I will listen to your references to create a customized sound selection that is right for your song. This enables the creative process to flow easily in order for us to create a song from scratch that is original and achieves the artist's vision.

Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I have clients list artists that they are inspired by. From there, together we focus on the sound selection based on references. I look for what drums were used and common chord progressions.

Novice producers typically use generic sounds, they often use loops and don't put much thought into the realism. Much of this unhelpful workflow comes from ego. When working with clients, I never start the conversation about my own taste of music. Instead, I begin with listening to the artist.
