Q: What is the difference between this gig and mastering?

A: Mastering is less about processing for effect, and more about quality control and processing for the final product. In Mastering the goal is to have the music translate emotionally to the listener on consumer playback equipment. This gig is about processing to achieve an effect, that will be used in a song, but most-likely mixed with other material.

Q: Can you morph any sound into anything?

A: Short answer is no. Longer answer is, you can't change what is recorded. So this gig is not to remove noise, make bad notes sound good, or change a electric guitar into a piano. Though I am up for a challenge.

This gig is more-so meant for traditional processing, like compress my vocal and and some shimmer. But as I am up for any challenge, if someone wants me to try to make something sound exaggerated, I will try it and the satisfaction guarantee covers both of us. If I can't do it, no harm done; if you don't like it, no harm done.

Q: What if the audio doesn't work in my mix?

A: This can be fixed with EQ. I offer to check the processed track along with your mix. If you decide you want mixing service performed by me after buying this gig (within a reasonable time), I will give you $15 off the mixing service.
