I play a bunch of instruments and have the ability to produce remote collaborations featuring my playing, mixing, and mastering. Of course, you will need the ability to record vocals remotely yourself, with another engineer, or travel to do so.
About my playing:
I play banjo in both clawhammer (old-time) and progressive 3-finger (Scruggs) styles. I have a beautiful, serve-the-song approach to playing banjo on records and have a strong love and passion for a wide range of sounds and genres. I also play 6 & 12-string acoustic, electric, nylon, and rubber bridge guitars and have an ability to record and produce sounds from delicate fingerstyle to ambient and textural to paint-peeling crunch.
I have a love of gentle, acoustic-oriented percussion, and also a keen ear for ethereal-leaning ambient textures such as space reverbs, tremolo, delay, nature sounds, and tasteful sampling.
I appreciate the trust to take creative approaches to each song and project individually. I would put my production style into the indie-folk, experimental-folk, and string arrangements categories.
Should you have a more flexible project budget, I am happy to facilitate and look into the prospect of getting other session players and collaborative producers involved.
