EXPERIENCE
For over a decade I have illustrated for international award winning music artists (Limoblaze - Sunday in Lagos, Datin - Who do you believe) record labels (Reach Records); art production credits on projects for multinationals (UNODC “Corruption Wahala”, MacArthur Foundation Halima’s Vote”, Cartoon Network); and Netflix movie in-film illustrations (Ile Owo).

MY PROCESS
1. DISCOVERY
We have a discovery call or chat to go over your vision and details for the work to distill the art direction and composition that will fit best.

2. FEES & TERMS
We negotiate fees (depending on the nature, scale and deliverables of the project)

3. SKETCH PHASE
I send a quick pencil drawn sketch based on the details we discussed in point 1. Here you are to review and make changes as to layout, composition, character poses, and visual story.

Any notes on the above will be worked on in a revised sketch for you approval before we proceed to next phase.

4. ROUGH COLOUR
To give you a sense of clarity as to colour choices, I may either send you a mood board or make a rough colour sketch of our drawing. You can also review and suggest colour choices here.

5. COLOUR AND TYPOGRAPHY
I will develop the drawing, make detailed colouring of the piece, and add type design (text) as required for the piece. Here emphasis on your review for colour and font choices.

Any notes on the above will be worked on and revised for you approval.

PS: approving and signing off at each stage helps us progress effectively and efficiently. Any overhaul that requires drastic alterations to already approved phase submitted (may) result in additional time to deliver as well as additional 30% deposit.
