Banjo Tracking, rhythm playing, hybrid style w finger picks for folk, bluegrass and country for $40
Did you know that the banjo is from African decent? While no actual Banjos were brought over to the North America with the African people who were enslaved. The idea and concept of this instrument was brought along with their peoples memories of their traditional instrument, which then evolved into what we know today as the modern 5 string banjo!
I am Offering Banjo Tracking, rhythm playing, hybrid style w finger picks for folk, bluegrass and country. I play and write banjo for my band Stetson Road. I love playing traditional country or adding a splash of banjo to a song to give it a different feel. I have a 5 string Ibanez banjo with the closed back. I use medium gauge D'strings for a bit of a thicker traditional tone but can switch to light strings for that classic banjo sound. railroad spikes installed on the drone section of the neck for different tuning options (the work like a capo for the drone string)
Adding banjo to an arrangement can add a whole other layer that can bring complexity or simplicity into a song.
I use a SHURE SM7B Cardioid microphone with a ART Studio V3 Voicing Valve PreAMP
or TC Electronics AT2020 Condensor microphone
or MXL 990 Condensor Microphone
