Mastering for $30

Are you looking for someone to mix and/or master your songs at a fair price? I have a small but well-equipped studio on the edge of the Black Forest near Freiburg. From indie, alternative, singer/songwriter to punk, hip hop/rap, pop, blues or country: I've been making and editing music for 30 years and I look forward to working with your songs. I use professional tools and plugins and also have various reference class speakers and headphones for monitoring.

I don't care about the quality of your recordings, I know from my own experience that not everyone can afford professional studio recordings. I work with everything you have, including your rehearsal recordings.

MASTERING

Mastering gets your songs ready for release, so it puts the finishing touches on your songs and adjusts volume levels to industry standards. Other plugins are also used here to get the most out of your material (EQ, compression, limiter, tape saturation, stereo width, etc.).

For this I use the Ozone Advanced Mastering Suite with integrated and external plugins. Important: I don't work with automation here (like e.g. Landr etc.). Each song is individually mastered and every step in the process is my conscious choice. And of course, the same applies here: Criticism is always allowed!

Plugins/tools: Soundtoys 5, Melodyne (vocal correction), VintageVerb, Softube Plugins (z.B. TSAR-1 Reverb, Drawmer S73), Api EQs (550A, 550B, 560), high end compressors (Api 2500, CLA-2A, CLA-3A, CLA-76, Shadow Hills) and many more!

Monitoring: Two linear COS boxes measured and modded by a sound engineer, Fostex 6301B monitors, Beyerdynamic DT1990 and DT770 headphones as well as "Lo-Fi" devices (cell phone, car radio, etc.) for further listening.
