My name is Derek LaRance and I am a mixing and mastering engineer living in Honolulu Hawaii. I have been a musician since 2000 and I started doing audio production in 2013. Since then, I have gotten a degree in Audio Production from Full Sail University and I have put together my own recording studio. I have produced and publicly released my first single last year and I have mixed/mastered projects for clients ranging from metal, rock, rap, and house of worship. I am also a Front of House engineer for live music as well.

I use the industry standard digital audio workstation ProTools Ultimate, and use plug-ins from Universal Audio, Melodyne, STL Tones, Superior Drummer 3 and more. Most importantly, I have an acoustically treated room with Avantone CLA-10A near field monitors (an upgraded version of the famous Yamaha NS10’s - which are found in almost every major recording studio!) and a Yamaha HS8S Subwoofer.
