Versatile Audiophile To Loud Mastering for $98

I started out as an audiophile in the 70s turned recording engineer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist as the years went by. I am both a critical listener and musician with 43 years experience in the industry. I can produce an audiophile master with all of the critical dynamics retained all the way to a blistering loud master if that's what the client wants. It's up to you, however I will always start with what I feel offers the best compromise.

My monitoring setup and room is top notch and measures relatively flat all the way down to 19Hz in my current room, which allows me to hear what mixes really sound like and how they will translate over a variety of systems. I utilize high end analog outboard gear and sometimes augment my process in the digital domain depending on the program material or the client's wishes. I do not resample in the box, but rather do this when converting back into the digital domain after analog processing. This eliminates any resampling artifacts.

Finally, I may suggest mix changes based on the client's ultimate desires from the final master, however I can work with what the client provides me. But realize the best masters come from the best mixes.
