I work out of my home Chicago studio through an Apollo interface, Pro Tools, and Yamaha HS speakers. My Mic closet has everything from Vin-Jet Ribbon Mics, to Large diaphragm condenser AKG 414s, to sturdy dynamic Shure and Beyer Dynamic mics for re recording and production depending on what suits the aesthetic of the given project. On the software side, my DAW has access to plugins from iZotope , to Plugin-Alliance, to Softube, to Waves, to Melodyne for music mixing to suit any style of music.
The vast professional experience I have from Electrical Audio, Ardent Studios, Shirk Studios, and Chicago Recording Company, has shaped how I use the tools in front of me to best serve. From assist engineering on work for artists from jazz composers like Shawn Maxwell, to recording and mixing for alternative rock band Audio Bakery I adapt to the needs that best serves the artist's sonic vision. On top of my history in audio engineering, I have also provided production and composition needs that extends into my ability to program and design modular synthesis for more contemporary pieces as well.
At the moment I can provide my mixing skills at $100 for a singular track and can build off of that depending and varying on how many more tracks require service. With a single track starting point, I can provide a handful of revisions based off of the artist's personal idea for the song in a two week time period.
