I always want to make sure you get the exact mix you want, so I like to get my pre-mix questionnaire filled out so that I can get a clear view of what you’re seeing for the project.

To get an idea of my process, once you send over the files, I will go through them and make sure that nothing jumps out at me that might be a potential issue, like if something was exported funny or something like that.

The very first thing that I'm going to do is a test; my goal is to be 90%. I am not trying to get a Bullseye on the first one because I know that, especially because this is the first time that we’ve worked together; I want to make sure that I'm going in the right direction. So I'm gonna try to get it to the 90% mark and send it to you to get some broadstroke notes.

Whether it’s a simple, “Brendan, you’re crushing it, just keep going” or a more detailed, “Brendan, that’s not quite what I’m looking for, try something different,” I want to be right there next to you on the vision for the whole thing. I want to make sure we’re moving in the direction you want.

So once I get the thumbs up for that 90% mix, I'll hit any tweaks you have, and then I’ll get it to a point where I feel better about it, too. I’ll do all the automation and add all the bells and whistles, but really, I want to get the vibe right. I really want to make sure that you're feeling great about the direction.

Of course, after that, you can submit any revisions you have. Then I also like to encourage a video revision session to discuss everything in person. It makes it all so much easier and helps out with any questions or anything like that.

Once the mix is approved for mastering I'll make sure that you have:
1. a full version- the version for mastering.
2. I'll send a karaoke version (TV Mix) with the lead vocal muted, so if you wanna use that for social media posts or live shows if you're doing live shows without a backing band.
3. I'll send an instrumental version that you could use for sync or for social media teasers before the song comes out.
4. I’ll send over an acapella with all the vocals for any remixes or anything you’ll need.
5. I will send you all the mix stems so that you have them for sync, backing tracks, or remixes.

You’ll have everything that you need in one place.
