Mixing Electronic Music and Audio Tracks for $50
I've been a freelance mixing and mastering engineer for several years. I produce my own music (as well as others) and have been a lifelong musician, so I understand the vibe that a given artist would like for their music. I'm published on Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, and pretty much every other relevant platform and have accumulated several thousand streams over one year of official releases.
My main production focus is on electronic-centric music, but I also have experience with softer rock. If your music/audio incorporates a lot of synthesizers and similar electronic elements, I am a great fit for your project. I can also handle any podcasting or radio recording with no problem.
I typically start mixing by separating each component of the track into individual categories based on instrument. From there, I begin by applying compression to reduce (or increase) the dynamic range; equalize each individual audio or MIDI track to remove resonant or conflicting frequencies; and then begin layering effects like reverb, delay, autotune, etc, as needed. After this, I focus on making sure the whole mix fits together.
Below is a list of my available gear:
o Software / Plugins: Ableton Live 10 Suite; Izotope Nectar 3 Element and RX 8 Audio Repair; LEVELS by Mastering the Mix; SPAN Spectrum Analyzer; Antares Auto-tune; many more relevant plugins
o Hardware: Focusrite 6i6 and 2i2; M-Audio Code 49 midi controller; KRK Systems Rokit monitor; Shure SM7B dynamic microphone
o Instruments: Piano and Keyboard, Acoustic and Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Vocals, Ukelele
I want you to be as content with the final product as possible, so I'm willing to do up to three revisions/edits. Depending on the project and the buyer, I would consider more.
