Let me Mix and Master your next Hit Song for $100
My gear consists of a pair of Yamaha CR4 speakers, an Arturia MiniFuse 1 audio interface, a Shure SM7B microphone, and I'm wearing a pair of white Audio Technica MTH-50X headphones. So, this is very much a bedroom studio. However, my credits include two beats used by rapper Kurko as well as some mixes for the rapper, TheSirKit. Depending on what kind of beat I make, I tend to use around 3 to 4 tracks for the melody, 3 to 5 tracks for the drums, and then one for the bass. However, I'll also use another track for a chorus melody. So, around 10 to 11 tracks. However, for mixing, depending on the song and the genre for that song, usually I'd have around 2 to 3 tracks, maybe even more so if needed.
