Professional Mix Engineering for $500

I offer top of the line mix engineering. I am extremely experienced and use a hybrid analog-digital workflow with Class A gear and the best and most advanced digital plug-ins on the market. I deliver clear, punchy, modern mixes that also have a "classic" feel in terms of their warmth and color. I have experience mixing electronic music of all varieties, pop/indie-pop, rock (in its many iterations, especially psyche rock, punk, post-punk), hip hop, and soundtracks.

I am also an accomplished producer and composer. My artist project "Sylvan Paul" is signed to a Sony sub-label, and I habitually score short films and work on commercial projects. One of the benefits of working with me is I will bring a producer and writer's perspective to your music, not just a cold, clinical engineer's perspective. I not only balance dynamics and tone, but make the music sound come ALIVE.

I don't have revision limits, but revision requests have to be specific. "Not vibey enough" isn't a useful piece of feedback. "The chorus needs to feel bigger" is a better piece of feedback. "The guitars in verse 1 are too bright" is the best type of feedback. With that said, I find that my clients rarely ask for more than 1 or 2 revisions :)

Price can be negotiated. If it's a high end production that just needs a little polishing, we can work out a lower rate. But if you've got 50+ tracks and it's mess, I can't go any lower than $500 because I am going to give it a lot of love and attention and that takes time.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: the quality of the mix you receive will be a direct reflection of the quality of the audio you deliver. If you recorded your music in an echoey, untreated garage, or recorded vocals in your apartment with lots of street noise or AC noise, or are using plastic sounding samples, there's only so much I can do, or anyone else for that matter. If someone is promising they'll make your music sound like your favorite hit and you haven't recorded/produced it to that standard, you're being ripped off! The key to a great mix is a great arrangement - this means intentional instrumentation/sound selection and thoughtful distribution of melodic and rhythmic parts across those various instruments, whether they're "real", VST generated, or sample-based.
