I am Oscar Pinilla, a mixing engineer with over 12 years of experience, specializing in a wide variety of musical genres including Latin pop, reggae, jazz, vallenato, indie pop, rock, metal, and hip hop. I’ve had the privilege of working with international artists and producers such as Santi Muk and Ignacio Paganni, which has allowed me to refine my craft and adapt to the unique needs of each project.

In my studio, I rely on a Dynaudio BM5 MkII monitoring system, which provides precise and detailed sound imaging. My main audio interface is the Apollo x6, known for its exceptional sound quality and ultra-low latency. I work with an extensive collection of high-end plugins from Universal Audio, Waves, and Plugin Alliance, all within the latest version of Pro Tools Studio.

Additionally, I now incorporate analog gear into my workflow, processing the mixbus through a Manley Vari Mu tube compressor, which adds analog warmth, depth, and musicality to your mix — helping it sound more cohesive and polished.

My mixing process is meticulous and tailored to each project. Regardless of the number of tracks in your session, the fee remains the same. I offer up to 4 revisions to ensure your full satisfaction with the final result.

Typical turnaround time is 2 to 3 business days, depending on project complexity. Upon delivery, you’ll receive:
• The final stereo mix (ready for mastering)
• A TV mix (instrumental version without lead vocals)
• Individual stems for further flexibility
