Mixing , Mastering, Producing a Song that you wanted to intend for $200

While producing and mixing various kinds of music and listening to music from different areas, I realized good music gives listeners an ‘experience’. You might ask what one would need to create such an ‘experience.’

Depth, Groove, Texture → Expression…

These are the most important things that I always care about when I produce music. If you can add "expression" by adjusting the groove, depth, and texture properly, you can make good sensational music regardless of the genre or trend. That's why loud and so well-produced & mixed songs don’t always gain much traction these days.

Whether a song is popular or experimental, I try to make a good song that the artist tried to intend, not a well-made one.

MAJORIS
Record producer, Engineer, Artist

Dowon Seong, also known as MAJORIS , is a Korean record producer, engineer and artist based in Seoul. He started producing music in high school in 2019, and began his musical career in 2022 by producing a song for the TV show 'SMF' aired by Mnet, the largest music broadcasting channel in Korea.

After he landed a major placement, he began to produce & mix various genres of music, working with Independent artists all round the world, mainly focusing on hip-hop, K-pop and electronic music.

In 2023, he established MJ PRODUCTION CO., LTD for full-fledged music business and built a studio for higher quality production.

He created a collective called YAMA, along with his friend YOGI, who he had continuously collaborated with since high school. YOGI is a hip hop artist and graphic designer, currently located in Providence, Rhode Island.
