Hi, my name is Matt Clark and I'm a producer, mixer, guitarist, and songwriter from Los Angeles, California. I have a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in audio engineering. That's where I got my start in the music business in the 90’s and then moved to L..A. in 2000. I first cut my teeth at the famous Silvercloud Studios in Burbank, honing my editing and mixing chops.

There’s no feeling quite like hearing a great mix with thundering lows and shimmering highs. It’s even better when it’s your music and it sounds better than you ever imagined possible. These days I work out of my own private studio called Red Line. I mix in Pro Tools HD with an Avid HD i/o interface. I use a Dangerous 2 Bus for analog summing which makes a huge difference in my mixes and eliminates the digital summing traffic jam when you completely stay in the box. Other gear includes Yamaha NS-10's, Auratones, API & Summit Preamps, Empirical Labs Distressors, Marshall Amps, Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, various classic mics, hundreds of plugins, plus more.

Some of the producers and artists I've worked with include Godhead, Blasko (Ozzy), Virgil Donati, Tommy Henriksen (Alice Cooper), Jeff Pilson (Dokken, Foreigner), Ryan Greene, Tom Fletcher, the Iron Maidens, and many more. I am also the guitarist in Freakhouse, signed to 7Hard Records (Germany) which is distributed through Membran.
