Bass - 4-time Nominee for ACM Bass Player of the Year for $175
Alison Prestwood – 4-time nominee for ACM Bass Player of the Year (Academy of Country Music Awards) - $175 per song
Well-established Nashville bass player. Played on all tracks on George Benson’s 2019 album, “Walking to New Orleans.” I recently played on a record with Steve Gadd on drums, which was a real joy. I played on Blake Shelton’s first three albums, including the #1 songs “Austin” and “The Baby” and the huge hit “Ol’ Red.” Played on countless other recordings by artists Trace Adkins, Needtobreathe, Little Richard, Buddy Miller, Julie Miller, Olivia Newton-John, Faith Hill, Brooks and Dunn, Kid Rock, Marty Stuart, Phil Everly, Ronnie Milsap, Rodney Crowell, Felix Cavaliere, Steve Cropper, Kim Carnes, Ray Stevens, Elizabeth Cook, Eddie Floyd, William Bell, Don McLean, Chris LeDoux, B.J. Thomas, Jim Lauderdale, Jeffrey Steele, and Cliff Richard, among others.
All styles - including pop, rock, country, alternative, funk, and jazz. Great with fingers or pick. Electric solid body and hollow body basses. I'm a very good music reader, too. I use Nuendo 13.
Artists I've toured with include Shawn Colvin, Olivia Newton-John, Rodney Crowell, Patty Loveless, Amy Grant and Vince Gill. I've played with many artists in various concert settings and TV shows, including Joe Bonamassa, Larry Carlton, Christopher Cross, Wynona Judd, Trisha Yearwood, Earl Scruggs, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, and more than I can remember right now!
