Funk up your tracks. for $99

Hello all, I am Based in the UK NW, i have been a Bass teacher, song writer for 35 years, played with and backed the likes of Sugar Babes, Van Morrison, Def leppard, Bill Wyman and the rhythm kings, Marvin Ruffin, I write songs for my own 9 piece funk band Funkafonix which are being released now, My studio sound is Clear as a bell, i have been through all the various software packages and never really liked the sound of bass using most of them, my bass never sounded like my bass with them if that makes sense. I have now the sound i am after its taken a while to find it with the right gear, but now i have it, if you are after soft 6 string fretless bass i have it, if you are after a bass line that could pin people to the back wall then welcome, thats my bag, if you are after gears in your tracks lets talk. Bass sounds i have over 40 basses, my main ones are two my trusty Wal custom i have had for over 30 years, a rare G&L L2000 E which is just killer and a range of other basses, custom Jazz, MusicMan, Goodfellow. For pre amps i am using two things An SWR RedHead Valve preamp which is so versatile and clean, and a slap tone to die for, and my secret weapon which may surprise a few people, an Amek 9098 mainly a top end Mic pre which i use also for but found this thing can suck every bit of info out of my pickups to get that really clean polished sound, or if you want sub or dirty i have over 50 top quality pedals, if you are after that funky wah effect i have a sound bootsy would be proud of, In Funkafonix i am covering a full range of genres, Funk, funkjazz, Acidjazz, Soul, Northern Soul, Rare Groove, Latin, Power funk, Rock Pop, Disco and Gospel, if you are after something like this then lets chat, i like a good chin wag, hope to hear from you soon.
