Gear & Studio: I have a 4 string Ibanez bass guitar, Duet interface by Apogee for recording, Logic Pro X DAW.

Recording Process: I will record three different takes of a bass line for any of your projects along with 2 revisions at no additional cost.

Bio: Joshua Young (b.1989, Queens, NY) ) was awarded a full-tuition scholarship to study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA at age 17. During his time at Berklee he worked with visiting artists saxophonist Bob Reynolds (John mayer/Brian Blade), trumpeter Rashawn Ross (Dave Matthews Band), drummer Louis Cato (Marcus Miller band), and musical director Tariqh Akoni (Josh Groban). At age 23 Young was featured alongside bass guitar idols Anthony Crawford (Justin Timberlake), Mark Peric (Planetshakers), Brandon Brown (The Jacksons, Stevie Wonder), in the Gospel chops franchise Bass Sessionz Vol. 2. Young has performed as a sideman on live television with top billboard artist Daya (Artist ft. on Don't let me down by Chainsmokers) opening up for Taylor Swift and Jessie J in Times Square, NY. Perfored in Wuxi, China with his Jazz Trio. Played in studio recordings along with other session giants such as Dan Warner guitarist (Shakira, Barbara Streisand, Barry Gibb), JR Robinson (Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Daft Punk) Bashiri Johnson (Michael Jackson, Sting, Madonna). In 2019 Young also toured Japan (Yokohama, Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya) as a bass solo artist under AMSA Recording Label.
