What I do before recording a Bass line, is to listen carefully to the song, every detail, every nuance.
In fact, i believe that only when you know every single bar is it possible to work in the right way, to choose the right notes.

My style is near to genres like Pop/Funk/Rock/Metal, but, over 25 years, I have played a lot of different music. Exactly for this reason, I learned to play the Bass with many technique: Finger, Slap, with a Pick, etc., to adapt my sound to different situations or different requests.

I can record tracks already written, for example by an arranger, or I can create a personal bass line always trying to respect the "intention" of the song.
