BASS PLAYER SEARCHING RECORDING EXPERIENCE for $25
Hi, I'm Gabriel, I'm a bass player. I usually work in Brazil as a sideman, and I work in the bands I'm part of. I worked with some independent artists, where I participated in recordings during the 2020 pandemic. Here at AirGigs I had the opportunity to record with some artists, where I was able to gain experiences and finally I have a song on Spotify that I recorded the bass.
I will make a summary of the equipment I use in my home-studio.
Well, the entire recording process is done via audio interface.
I currently use the Focusrite 2i2 (A simple interface, but it does its job well).
All recorded audio goes to the Reaper DAW, where I can perform some interventions (EQ, Plugins) if I want.
I use 2 basses in my Setup, all with new strings usually, it depends a lot on the sound that will be played.
Currently I use a 2013 Fender Jazz Bass (Alder body, Maple Neck and Rosewood fretboard) and a Precision Bass from a Brazilian brand called Tagima (Poplar body, Maple neck and fretboard).
The basses can be plugged into a HOTONE MultiFX pedal, depending on the sound that will be required.
I also have a DI box integrated into the Hartke Preamp Pedal.
