I offer a variety of styles and tones from classic Motown style soulful bass lines, sometimes using mutes to achieve the classic thump sound, through to driving rock and funk lines, whatever serves the song. I also play piano, guitar and drums, however, electric bass is my main instrument.

I can record electric bass on your tracks on my 1977 MusicMan StingRay or 1998 Fender Jazz direct into a Focusrite interface and Protools and via a selection of amp interfaces (Ampeg B15 and SVT are the main ones I use) to give you at least two tracks - one Amped and one DI as WAV file stems, as well as an Mp3 mix of your track with the bass. I also use a Brainworx compressor where needed. This straightforward setup allows me to get the best clean bass tone for your track efficiently with minimal interference between the instrument and track. I can work from either stems or mp3 and I can quickly work out a part by ear. However, if you have a specific line you want me to play from MIDI, please send that I can also play it exactly as required.
