Session and Touring Bassist for $100

I play an ESP LTD B206SM bass with an ash body and bolt-on, 5-piece maple and jatoba neck that gives this bass bright and punchy mids, a fast attack, and a focused bass response. The spalted maple top's satin finish gives my bass an eye-catching look to suit all styles of music.

I've played bass for rock bands, jazz combos, funk/soul outfits, gospel, Caribbean, African, and classical orchestras. I've toured as far west as St Louis, MO, and from Ohio down to Miami.

My approach to bass playing is rooted in a deep understanding of song structure, harmony, and rhythm. I excel at crafting bass lines that complement the musical vision while providing a solid foundation. My process involves:

In-depth Song Analysis: I meticulously examine the chord progressions, melody, and overall feel of a track to ensure the bassline aligns seamlessly.

Creative Bassline Development: I experiment with various melodic and rhythmic ideas to create a bassline that enhances the song's emotional impact and groove.

Technical Execution: I prioritize precision, clarity, and tone in my playing, utilizing a combination of fingerstyle and pick techniques as needed.

Collaborative Refinement: I welcome feedback and am open to making adjustments to the bassline based on the project's requirements.

Professional Recording and Delivery: I utilize high-quality recording equipment and software to capture my performance accurately, providing multiple takes and options for editing and mixing.

I am proficient in various recording and notation software, ensuring efficient communication and delivery of final tracks. My goal is to exceed client expectations by providing exceptional bass playing and a seamless collaborative experience.
