Electric Bass Tracks for $40
I am a professional freelance musician, based out of Austin, TX. I retired from the U.S. Army as as musician in 2004 after 20 years of service. I attended a rigorous music theory course at the Armed Forces School of Music in Norfolk, VA. I pride myself in creating the feel, sound, groove you’re looking for. I also play drums and understand how to groove and listen to a drummer.
As an Army musician, I’ve traveled the world and learned all styles of music. I am capable of recording pop, rock, blues, country, bluegrass, americana, indie, jazz, latin jazz, funk, R&B, soul, reggae, hip hop, classical & more. I pride myself with sight-reading, reading lead sheets, Nashville numbers and of course playing by ear. I play finger style and can slap the hell out of the bass. I get a lot of calls for live gigs because of my sight-reading skills.
I record with Presonus Studio One 3 or LogicProX through a Focusrite 18i8.
My basses include:
Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass (4 string with maple board, 5 string with rosewood board),
Fender American Standard Precision,
1992 MusicMan Stingray 5 String,
Carvin lb4,
Lakland Skyline with Bartolini PreAmp.
For direct recording my basses can go through a Sadowsky SPB-1 PreAmp, Radial BassBones or from a MarkBass DI out. I can also mic a MarkBass 4x10 4 ohm speaker cabinet with a Shure beta 52.
For your track, I can send different options of basses and or grooves and I can expand on any suggestions you want and need.
$40 gets you whatever you need until you are satisfied including however many takes. I'm confident you will be satisfied.
I will have the utmost focus on your project. I’m easy to work with and want to put your ideas to my bass playing to create a bass track you’ll be very happy with.
