Professional creative Bass tracks for your passion project or anything else for $120
For Bass guitar I run through the A Designs REDDI tube DI then through the Warm Audio Tone Beast pre-amp and finally through the Warm Audio WA-2A compressor into either an Apogee Duet 2 or the Tascam US 20x20 interface. My basses include a 2009 4-string Fender Jazz bass, 2021 4-string Fender American Deluxe P-Bass with flat wounds, Duesenberg 4-string Dropkick Murphys LTD bass with flat wounds (#12 of 96 made), a 1999 5-string Read Custom bass, a 4-string fretless Jazz bass, a 4-string Jazz bass with a '65 neck. I have a small 16'x12' studio I built in my serene woods behind my house.
I play through the song at first just finding my way and then start recording by about the third time through. I always search for feel changes and things that make each part stick out. If it calls for it, I'll throw a nice fill in certain places to differentiate each change or to just simply start building the song to wherever it is going naturally. In some cases I'll need to improvise some things on a fade out or near the end of the song and that's always fun. I'll put a solid 2 hours into each track if that's what it needs. Some are more demanding than others!
Over the years I have had several original bands and have been hired for numerous sessions locally (Massachusetts). Also I have a lot of live experience which very much helps my studio performances. I have recorded with numerous songwriters trying to pitch songs through and engineer friend. Also, I played bass on 10 songs for a new album Michael Sweet from the band Stryper will be releasing in 2025. I have recorded with Martin&Kelly, TREBEK, The Brother Stereo, James Montgomery, and so many others needing an adaptable musician on their song.
This price is per track. I will provide you with one Bass track and will make up to 2 edits for your satisfaction. I will be sure to be happy with what I send at first and will ask any questions I have before releasing it to you.
I can also offer very nice Acoustic Guitar tracks or 5-string banjo tracks. I'd say for Banjo I'm more the one to create a part and not a traditional player so if you are looking for traditional Bluegrass I am not your guy! With that said, if you want Banjo on a Country song or a non-traditional style song, I could be your guy. I'll most likely use a Rode NT4 stereo mic into a Focusrite ISA 2 through one of my interfaces.
All of my tracks will have room for post-processing!
