I will record your bass lines using a 1977 Rickenbacker 4001 bass guitar, for that gorgeous growling sound that is perfect for punchy, melodic bass riffs. The Rickenbacker has a stereo output that allows the bridge and neck pick-ups to be recorded separately, so you can control the full range of tones from the guitar in your mixer. I will also record using an AKG C451 condenser mic’ on the strings, so you can add ambience and string sounds to your mix. All three tracks will give you complete control over your bass sound that will be second to none.
