When I'm working on your song I'm not just thinking as a musician but as an engineer too. As well as trying to craft the perfect part I'm considering what drums/cymbals combined with what mics and techniques will capture the most authentic sound for your song. Throughout my 20 years of playing and 12 years of recording I have been lucky to perform and study with some of the UKs best Musicians and Producers. All genres are catered for and I'm continually learning new techniques to refine the quality.

Big Fig Studio has varied ceiling heights and sound treatments to offer a flexible space to work in. I can get everything from tight and dry to big Led Zeppelin-esque sounds all without plug-ins. It's this combination of musicality and engineering that can take your track to the next level.
