Hi!

My name is David and I'm a versatile drummer from the U.S. I will record unique and solid drum tracks to your song for $100.

This is my basic package. Send me your file(s) and general ideas about the project and over the course of 3 days we will collaborate to achieve the best sounding drums possible. I will record several takes over the process. You can pick one or all and I'll email you the stems.

Note: This package includes my general interpretation of the best drums for the song . I will take any feedback into consideration. I'm able to record tracks very quickly and send them back to you for "unofficial revisions", but if you have specific ideas for the drums or have preprogrammed drums you would like me to match, you need to select my custom package.

I usually have 12 different mics setup: 2 overheads, 2 kicks,, toms, room mics, and snare mics. With this package you will be able to choose from 12 different mics in the room for how you want your drums to sound.

You will not pay unless you are completely happy.

Gear:

Drums: I use a vintage 1970s Slingerland Rock Outfit drum kit. I use all Meinl cymbals and using the remote cable hi hat stand gives me a unique sound and style. Finally, I use the famous Ludwig Black Beauty snare.

Studio: I run 12 channels through 18i20/18i8 Focusrite interfaces through Abelton Live Suite. 4 of those channels run through an API 3124+

Mics: Right now I'm using the AKG D112/Beyerdynamic M88TG as kick out/in, ATM450 on the snare, two Shure SM81s as overheads, Shure PGA52s on Toms, Aventone CV12 as room mic, and an assortment of SM57s in different places around the kit.

It's best if your song is recorded to a click. If not, I can usually do a great job it just takes a little longer to learn where you speed up and down on the track.

I just need a wav or mp3 of your track and I can easily load it and start recording!

Workflow:
Day 1: I track your song and send you the basic ideas for your input. You will likely get some takes back first day.

Day 2: I'll do more takes based off our any of our initial discussions about my sound/performance and send more takes day 2. Again, for this package we stick to my style and interpretation, but I will openly receive critique and suggestions where applicable.

Day 3: I will email you the best takes and you can decide which takes are the best and I will send you those multi-track stems.
