Hi, I'm Martin Evans, a remote session drummer and MIDI drum specialist with over 35 years of experience. Originally from the UK, I work exclusively from my home studio in Philadelphia, collaborating with bands, solo artists, and producers worldwide.

As a drummer, I like to keep things simple, making sure I play for the song and nothing else. I need to stay true to who I am as a player and not let technology get in the way, so I record live, to maintain the human element. What you're getting is a living and breathing drum track. While my roots are in rock and pop, I'm versatile and comfortable across most genres. I ask that you check with me first, as I don't want to waste your time or money if I don't think I'm a fit for your project.

The track will be delivered as a MIDI file, and if required, I can provide multitrack audio. I have numerous sample libraries, but I primarily use Superior Drummer 3 and its extensive expansions. Not only does this provide access to a vast collection of professionally recorded kits, but the true value lies in the virtual access to a range of world-class recording studios, including Capitol, Sound City, Air, Hansa, and many more.

My rate is based on a flat per-song fee, with three-day delivery and three revisions as standard.
