Hi, I'm Martin Evans, and I'm a drummer with over 30 years of experience. Originally from the UK, I work exclusively from my home studio in Philadelphia, providing organic and tasteful MIDI drum tracks for bands, solo artists, and producers worldwide.

As a drummer, I like to keep things simple, making sure I play for the song and nothing else. I need to stay true to who I am as a player and not let technology get in the way so, I record live, with no programming or loops. What you're getting is a living and breathing drum track played live by an experienced song drummer.

While my roots are in Rock and Pop, I'm versatile and comfortable across most genres. I ask that you check with me first, as I don't want to waste your time or money if I don't think I'm a fit for your project.

You get a lot of benefits from using MIDI for your drums. Editing and mixing are a lot easier - we can control every aspect of the track, including bleed, but the two main things for me are the room sounds and the choice of kits. The magic is in the room, and with me, you can virtually access a host of world-class rooms such as Capitol, Sound City, Air, Hansa, and many others. This, along with libraries such as Superior Drummer, means you'll have access to a ton of professionally recorded drum kits.

My rate is a flat per-song fee, with three-day delivery as standard and unlimited revisions - we work until you're happy. New clients receive a reduced rate on their first track and I also offers discounts on orders of two tracks or more!
