•• Smart, Soulful, Supportive Drum Tracks to Drive Your Song & Lots of Gear to Choose From •• for $125

You've put a lot of thought and soul into your songs; you deserve to have everyone involved with your music give it the drive, feeling, and space to make it express what you want—that's what I live for. Whether it's a stripped down back beat or in-your-face fills that get a crowd air drumming we've all felt how a great drum track can lift a song. I want to create that for you and with you.

What you get:
• Up to 8 raw, discreet tracks of drums delivered in .wav format (typically recorded in 24 bit at 48 khz) at my private studio in Downtown Los Angeles
• A stereo mix, digitally recorded using Logic Pro X/2017 Mac, a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20, and a variety of vintage and modern professional drum gear (more on that below).

Before I play a note, I want understand how achieve what you are looking for. My process is:
1) Establish your sonic blueprint and the feeling you want to convey
2) Inform my approach by listening to your preferences/needs in a drum part
3) Determine together what gear and mic scheme will give the desired results
4) Let that sucker blast—play with passion!
5) Discuss results and entertain revisions

As for drums and cymbals, I have several options:
'50s WFL Ludwig set, 3-ply, 22/12/16 w/ matching 5 1/2" snare (my pride 'n' joy!)
'00s Ludwig Downbeat, 6-ply, 20/12/14 bop set (can really pack a punch)
'00s Ludwig 6-ply 26/13/16/18 (THUNDER!)

I also have various Ludwig toms in 10", 12" sizes, and concert toms.

Snares include:
‘00s Ludwig LM402 6 1/2” x 14” Supraphonic “Ludalloy”
’90s Ludwig LM302 6 1/2” x 14” “Rocker” Brass
’64 Ludwig LM404 5” x 14” Acrolite Aluminum
'00s Ludwig Rocker 3" x 13" Piccolo Maple
'80s Gretsch 4160 5 1/2” x 14” Chrome-Over-Brass
’50 Sherwood 6 1/2” x 14” Maple/Poplar/Maple
’55-57 Slingerland 5 1/2” x 14” Mahogany

Cymbal choices can make a big difference on recordings. Do you need quick decay? Bright and explosive? Lots of stick definition? Rivets? Chinas? Maybe you don't want crash cymbals getting in the way of your vocal? Let's talk about it! My collection of about 60 cymbals is mostly Paiste, but I have other makes as well.

I am eager to hear your music and help it leap out of the speakers--let's get to work!!

Thank you for reading,
•• Michael
