What can I offer....
Let's begin with an initial discussion to get an understanding of the needs of the track and your ideas. Communication is the key at the beginning of the drum kit recording process.

I provide up to 8 tracks of high-quality drum kit recording (24 bit, 44.1/48/96kHz) or midi drum tracks if you are wanting midi versions.

What will you receive and when?
I offer 3 revisions, after the first provided recording. This gives you flexibility to change any ideas and get the drums just right for the track.

I will provide an MP3 of each drum kit recording for you to provide feedback and only once you are 100% happy I will send over the wav files. In addition to this I will also include a stereo wav file so you have something to record with or send to other musicians to work with.

What you would need you to send to me?

I will need a copy of the track with out drums.
I will need the tempo of the track.
Any reference material or ideas that you feel work for your track.
We can go into detail about the feel, vibe, drum sounds you are after and reference material when we first discuss your project or individual track. It's important that the feel and emotion of the song is captured correctly and the drums are key to this.

Who am I?

My name is Tom Wardle and I’m a professional drummer based in the UK. I've worked with several singed artists and recorded and toured in some of Europe's best venues. I completed my degree in Music Technology and Innovation where I learn the art of drum kit recording. In addition to this I run East Midlands Drum Tuition. I now record exclusively at The Paddocks Studio in Leicestershire. A perfect space to record drums.

I am passionate about drums, music and recording. I pride myself in delivering high quality drum kit recordings or midi parts that are played for the song with the right feel and conviction.

I have a hugh selection of microphones, modern drums and vintage drums as well as a good collection of cymbals. I endorse Dream Cymbals, Los Cabos Drum Sticks and Code drum heads.
