Drums recorded at Gravity Studios, owned and operated by Doug McBride since 1993.

Features tracking through vintage Neve preamps (1976 5315 Neve console) and other vintage pres include Altec and RCA.
Additional tracks provided that include outboard processing through pultec EQs on kick and snare, SSL E-Dyn compression on toms/room, and S-Type and Neve compressors for overheads or room mics.

David has been drumming since the age of 2. David earned many accolades performing in both concert percussion and jazz ensembles in middle school and high school. In 2015 David moved to Chicago to study and pursue a career in audio. After a very brief hiatus from drumming, David jumped back behind the kit and started performing with Columbia College Chicago's top ensemble programs, which included performances and studio residencies with artists such as Cassandra O'Neil (keys for Prince, Mary J Blige, Macy Gray) and Cory Henry (Snarky Puppy, Funk Apostles). In 2017, David started an internship at Gravity Studios. Within a year, David was tracking vocal and overdub sessions, while also assisting label and high-profile artist sessions. Later on, David started getting behind the kit more when working with developing artists who did not have a drummer (nor even think to hire someone!). In the past two years, David has tracked drums for over 100+ songs. His main influences include R&B, Hip/Hop, and Funk. David enjoys playing indie, pop, and rock, records, and infusing his roots in jazz and Latin into contemporary styles.
