Drums Acoustic or Programmed for $175
Drums for your songs, acoustic or programmed. Here in my studio I use traditional analog preamps and mics for acoustic drums, samples for programmed beats/loops, or a combination thereof. My acoustic setup uses the following preamps: API, BAE, Sytek, and Warm Audio. I use Lynx Aurora converters, and Dangerous Music Monitoring. My DAW is Logic Pro X and my monitors are Mackie HR 824, and NS10s. My main studio drum set is a Yamaha Recording Custom and I have many snares and loads of other drums and cymbals to choose from.
In general drum tracks are pretty straightforward but if need be I can do up to two revisions per song. Once a general feel is agreed upon I record multiple takes, edit the takes and bounce a full take. When artists likes the full take and gives the green light I bounce out each individual track (multi-tracks) and/or bounce a stem of the drums (essentially a stereo mix of the drum take) and deliver. I usually over communicate during the process to keep folks up to date.
I'll just be honest: The reality is there are many drummers out there to chose from, and that's a great thing because...drummers. But, when it comes to leaving your mark, writing your song, creating your art, you want someone who has the experience to come up with a drum part that feels the best and best fits your music. I have been doing this for decades and while it's a relentless learning curve I have figured out a couple things that will make your life easier. Contact me, let's make some music.
