I am a founding member and drummer for the CCM band Sanctus Real. A 2x Grammy Nominee and Dove Award winner with over 30 years of experience as a professional studio and touring musician. I have tracked drums on projects produced by the likes of Christopher Stevens, Tedd T, Pete Kipley, David Spencer, AJ Pruis, Jeff Pardo, Mark Townsend, Seth Mosley, Pete Stewart, Jason Ingram, Joshua Silverberg, Jacob Rye, etc.

Besides playing the drums and percussion on 99% of the entire Sanctus Real catalog, I have also recorded on tracks for artists such as Mark Townsend, Zilch, Jake Rye, The Ben DeLong Band, Ryan Valdiviez, Stephanie Staples, Brianna Caprice, Gayle Dodd, Josh Keene, Kristen King, Depth Of Mercy, David Jackson, Scott Biddle and more...

In my studio I have multiple drum kits, a massive collection of snare drum and cymbal options, a large assortment of various percussion instruments, electronic drum pads, drum machines and sequencers. I hold endorsement deals with Sabian Cymbals, ProMark Sticks, Evans Heads, Pure Sound Wires, Gon Bops Percussion, 64 Audio IEM's.

In my studio I usually record 12 to 16 tracks at a time depending on the size of the drum kit needed for the project. I use all top of the line mics, (Shure, Sennheiser, Røde, Solomon Mics, Cascade, Audio Technica, Audix, etc.), run through UA x8p interfaces with Universal Audio and Focusrite Preamps. I primarily use Logic Pro X and Ableton Live DAW's in Apple Silicon Mac computers. I also own thousands of samples and endless plug-ins with the processing capabilities to recreate pretty much any drum sound one might desire.

My process is simple! Hit me up and we'll communicate about what kind of drum sounds you're looking for and what, if any, ideas you're hearing as far as drum parts for the song. Or if that's not really your fòrte, I can certainly make appropriate decisions in these areas to make sure your drum tracks sound great! Once I know what direction to run in with your song I will track and edit together two full drum takes. This will provide you with the ability to choose and even comp together your own edit with different beats and fills from those takes. I am also willing to do a couple revisions if I don’t nail it for you the first time around.
