What do I bring to the table:

- Straight forward communication: I'll try to get the most information about the track beforehand, this makes it really easy for us to get the right take with just 1 or no revision.

- Versatility in many musical genres: Pop, Rock, Indie, Singer/songwriter, World, Brazilian, Latin, Funk, Soul, Jazz, Blues, Country.

- The right drum sounds and tones: from modern to lo-fi, I can recreate most drum tones I hear and I'll be happy to work with you to find the right sounds to your song. This is one of the most important parts of recording drums IMHO.

- Good equipment: fully equipped home-studio with 3 drum sets to choose from ( 2 modern Gretsch and 1 vintage Pinguim drum), 6 snare drums (Ludwig, Pearl, Gretsch and George Way), many cymbals from various manufacturers (Zildjian, Istanbul, Bosphorus, Domene, Agean). My microphones are from Shure, Sennheiser, Audio Technica, Lewitt, SE electronics, Avantone and Oldbox.

- Solid pocket and feel: expect drums that are organic yet tight to the click and with the right feel.

- 12 simultaneous tracks and overdubs: I can record up to 12 tracks at the same time and I'll be happy to do percussion overdubs if you need (shakers, tambourines, effects, etc.).

- Stems and/or stereo mix: I'll send you the stems of the raw recording or if you'd like I can send you a stereo file of my pre-mixed drums. I can also edit the drums to the grid if you'd like that.

- I play for the song: I'll play whatever the song needs to reach its full potential, either a subdued light groove or an energic performance. I take pride in being a reliable drummer that other band members enjoy working with.


In my 20+ years playing drums, I’ve had wonderful opportunities playing alongside many talented musicians and artists, which have made me a versatile drummer. My formal music education has taught me how to listen carefully and how to develop a nice touch on the instrument and all those years playing in a variety of scenarios ranging from clubs with 50 people to packed arenas with 30.000 people have given me the experience to become a well rounded musician.
