Record drums for your album in professional studio for $1050

I will record up to 45 minutes of music for your album.
I record in a professional recording studio (no home studios!) with an experienced engineer and top of the line equipment.

I primarily use Pearl maple drums, but the studio has a vast variety of drum brands, materials, sizes and sounds to cater for your needs.

I record with a plethora of microphones including:
- 2x snare top mics
- 1x snare bottom mic
- 2x kick drum mics (+ trigger)
- 3x overhead mics (Right, Centre, Left)
- All tom spot mics
- Spot mics on rides, chinas and other special sounds
- 3x room mics (Right, Centre, Left)
- 1x ambient room mic behind kit
- 1x ambient room mic outside drum room door
- 1x ambient room mic outside the hallway!
If you're an audio geek and want to choose your drum mics then be my guest! The studio has plenty!

You will receive:
- WAV files of all raw, unedited, unprocessed drum tracks in whatever format/quality you choose.
- (optional) full Pro Tools session with unedited drum tracks.

How I work:
I will spend approximately a week digesting your music and demos, and I will practice and prepare to record. We can exchange ideas and demos if time permits. It's important that you have some song demos that I can listen to. We must be mindful about the down the amount of learning/creative time I can apply, and make sure I can learn the songs properly in time to record.

GENRES:
- Rock, Pop or Blues: any kind of rock/pop/blues is ok. We can work together on the sound you want for the drums, and the vibe you're looking to capture. I'm a very finessed and dynamic player and love to nerd out on capturing the right sound for your music.
- Metal: Most metal genres are ok for me. I'm very proficient in extreme metal techniques - double bass, blast beats and the like, my comfortable speed tops out at about 220 BPM. (beyond that it gets tough but if you need that kind of speed I might need to hear a demo first!)
