Hey all, my name is Derek and I am a Saxophonist and Woodwinds artist from Ontario, Canada. I have been playing Saxophone for 11 years steady, with Clarinet 2 years previous for a total of 13 years with the Woodwinds.

Although traditionally trained with Jazz, I am a very versatile player, dipping into all genres from Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, RnB, Pop, Trap, Rock, Prog Rock, Post Rock, Singer-Songwriter and more. I play on all modern horns (Yamaha) and mouthpieces (SYOS), so my intonation and sound on all horns steady and not overly bright, but powerful with a thick core and focused.

I am available to help record horn sections, solos or melodies for your song. I can also help create and write melodies and improvised solo sections for your songs, just let me know the section , vibe and time stamp!

Included in the cost is:
- As many tracks as you need (I will send multiple takes of improvised solos)
- Doubling for single line melodies (or harmonies)
- Exporting high quality multi-track .wav files (48k, 24 bit)
- (Optional) A 1080p video file of myself recording your track(s)
- 5 revisions (Possibly more if needed)

I will be recording with 2 mics. Telefunken M80 super dynamic (close) and Audio Technica AT2020 Cardioid (room). I can send you both .wav files from both mics or you can choose one. To be honest the Telefunken sounds best with the space I am recording in, and in most situations the room mic is not necessary. The audio previews below were mixed with using just the Telefunken.
