This setup will cover any kind of capture on horns (or anything else for that matter). Ribbons will give you a warm recording. Large diaphragms are good at capturing all the fine detail, especially at low volumes. Small diaphragms are best when the transients become important. Dynamics are best in high volume situations where a lot of air is getting moved.
