My process is typically to ask for some ideas from the client in regards to where they want certain instruments and some adjectives for mood, vibe, or energy you are going for. I am a natural improviser but also respond well to parameters and suggestions.
$90 gets you three takes to choose from. If you are not satisfied with those, you may give me feedback and receive revised takes for $50 a take. I typically send "dry stems" of my parts to clients (Just the sound of the microphones with no effects) so that you can do what you would like with them in the mixing process. I label stems so that you can clearly see what quality of the instrument they may be focusing on- (fiddle close mic/ banjo room mic etc.)
