Pedal Steel, Lap Steel and Dobro Recording for $100

I offer my services as a 33 year pro in the recording of recording and flying pedal steel, lap steel and dobro tracks from my home studio. I have a full ProTools Studio setup along with an Apollo 8 interface, api324+ mic preamp and UA LA-610 Mk II mic preamp. My main studio rig is a 2012 Franklin Pedal Steel Guitar with 9 pedals and 8 knee levers into a Little Walter 89 Tube Amp and out to isolated Little Walter Cabs loaded with 12" speakers.

I am a Nashville-based pedal steel, lap steel and dobro player (1991-present).

I started playing in local and regional bands in the northeastern Ohio and Northwestern Pennsylvania areas in the late ‘70s-‘80s. Upon the urging of my future wife Darlene, I came to Nashville to audition for the pedal steel seat for Aaron Tippin, whom I worked for through the ‘90s. Other artists that I have toured with subsequently include: David Kersh, Jessica Andrews, Colt Prather, Michael Peterson, Jason Byrd, Lee Ann Womack, Rodney Atkins, Mo Pitney and Joe Diffie.

Some of the artists that I have recorded with include The Payne Family, Tammy Cochran, Aaron Tippin, Suzanne Karr, Shawn Byrne, John Riggins, Suzanne Mumpower, Andrew Wolfe, Peter Vroman, Robynn Shane, Matt Farley, Glen Wagner and also, Tecia McKenna. I also recorded Sony label demos for songwriter Jim Beavers in the late 2000s.

I live happily at home with my dog Sophie and two cat sisters, Pixie and Dixie. I am available for touring, recording (in-studio or overdubs from home, live band gigging and one-on-one teaching (in-person or online). Thank you!
