Citlali - A Sound
"A journey into the world by a brown girl..."
The creative vision and main creative partner in this project was my friend Preshona Ambrita. She came up with the song concepts, and a majority of the lyrics. I recorded, co-wrote, produced, mix and mastered this eclectic multi-genre album. There is more of an alternative R&B focus with some Hip Hop, Dancehall, Soul and Baltimore Club influences. We assembled a collective of artists from the DC/Baltimore area to bring our project to life. One of the songs on the project, "Lines", features Grammy-nominated R&B singer Cecily Alexa.
