Patience
There are moments when life reminds you that no matter how much you try some things just need time. I wrote this song during one of those moments.
I was tired of the constant need to work for perfection, and poured in this song my hope to enjoy the process.
Patience was fully recorded and produced in my home studio.
Lyrics:
All my first times were perfect,
but I wasn’t really there with me.
A maze that amazed me
kept me trapped inside of me.
Did I forget how to be bored?
Where the problems go when they’re not on my shoulders?
For the first time is not about being smart,
It takes patience, patience.
I’m just looking for my own way to shine,
and it takes patience, patience.
All my first times were perfect,
How I wish that I was there for me.
For the first time is not about being smart,
Stay present, it takes patience.
I’m just looking for my own way to shine,
Stay present, it takes patience. (Breath)
(one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four) Inhale
(one, two, three, four) Exhale
(one, two, three, four) Inhale
(one, two, three, four) Exhale
(one, two, three, four) Inhale
(one)
Did I forget how to be bored?
Where the problems go when they’re not on my shoulders?
For the first time is not about being smart,
Stay present, it takes patience.
I’m just looking for my own way to shine,
Stay present, it takes patience
and breathe (one, two, three, four)
