Demasiado Humana

Demasiado Humana, the new release by young singer-songwriter Azul Schenquerman, is an album that explores the emotions and contradictions that come with being human. From an almost visceral transparency, it lays bare the fears, longings, desires, and contradictions that accompany and haunt a person’s daily life. Through her own experience, the artist shares with her audience the identity process she is going through.

Azul Schenquerman’s third album delves into genres such as indie, rock, folk, and pop. Demasiado Humana is once again an eclectic album in terms of format. Some songs are more upbeat, others heavier, some lean towards electronic sounds, others are more acoustic, and there are even a few ballads. This variety arises because each song was triggered by a different emotion and, therefore, represented with the sound that best suits it.

Demasiado Humana is an album that navigates the personal, the relational, and the connection with the environment, the context, and everything that directly or indirectly challenges us.
