ELECTRIC GUITAR // ACOUSTIC GUITAR // BASS GUITAR TRACKS for $100
I am a session guitar player based in Amsterdam (NL). I have more than 20 years of experience in live and studio work, specialising in (classic) rock (with influences from blues, funk and jazz), pop and singer-songwriter.
For electrics I mainly use my 1973 vintage and 1998 Fat Strat Fender Stratocasters. The '73 has a great tone for bluesy SRV-style classic rock, while the Fat Strat is better for both the ultra clean rhythms, the funky stuff and the harder rock edges. My Gretsch Country Gentleman is great for both jangly clean rhythms and crunchy rock. For my acoustic needs I use a Guild D-15, with a wonderful round, warm and yet clear sound, ideal for finger picking and folky rhythm work. I also use a beautiful vintage Alhambra C2, for the nylon string style work. My main bass is a '75 Fender Precision. I also use Ibanez basses for more sophisticated and fretless work.
My two main amps are a Fender DeVille 4x 10 and a Fender DeLuxe with a 12' speaker, both great for sparky clean and crunchy sounds. I use an XTS pre-amp for my overdrive and distortion tones. I have a pedalboard filled with tons of boutique compressor- , modulation- , delay- and reverb pedals.
As for recording I use Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 (Windows platform) and Steinberg UR 44 (Mac) interfaces, into Cubase Pro 10.5. For microphones I use a Neumann TLM 103, a Neumann U87 and several Shure dynamic models. I also use amp and FX modelling software such as Amplitube and Bias Amp 2.
I can deliver pre-worked out and arranged parts, but if you want me to come up with my own ideas and suggestions, that's okay too. I have lots of experience in a wide range of styles and I'm a professional singer and songwriter as well, so I'll always think in the context of the song. I will deliver fully edited and comped finished tracks so you can simply import them into your project and you'll be ready for the mix process.
I'm looking forward to work with you!
