Guitar Recording for $150

My name is Ethan and I’ve been a professional guitarist for 15+ years. I’ve done it all - from studio, live, live recording, and touring the country.

I’m currently a first call session player at the legendary The Church Studios, formerly home to Leon Russel and Shelter Records where I get called to do everything from just play guitar to producing a whole track and being the whole band.

I just got off the road this fall with country artist Corey Kent where I played rhythm and slide guitar.

There’s not many genres of music that I’m not super confident in tackling!

My studio is small but mighty. I’ve got several great choices of acoustic ranging from vintage to modern and nylon string. I also have a mandolin that I’ve started to record on tracks. I’ve got just about any choice of electric guitar you could need, Gibson SG, PRS Silver Sky, Suhr Alt T, American Tele, Gretsch Chet Atkins, Fano JM6, Rivolta Mondata Baritone, and more!

I currently use a Quad Cortex with lots of amazing captures from Alter Ampworks but I have access to all of the amazing vintage amps at The Church Studio if that’s important to you!

My main recording chain is a Soyuz 1973, 013’s, AKG414’s, or a Peluso u47 with UAD Apollo interfaces. I monitor with Focal Lensys and if I need to mix, the mix room I use has Barefoot Footprint 01’s.
