There I’m James, I am a pro guitarist from the midlands of the UK. I have been playing guitars professionally for 20 years internationally and am a renowned music educator.

My values: playing without passion is unforgivable! When I perform on a song, I treat it as though I love it. Music is so important to life and should be treated with care and attention. When I contribute I do my best to deliver parts in tune, in time, properly recorded and to the brief. If I feel more creative contributions can be offered to my own taste I’m happy to deliver those as an extra for free.

I can read music and work by ear. I can follow the number system very well and work quickly. I have the flexibility to create a time space to record as established in negotiations.

I’m highly qualified with a BA Hons in music performance and a masters in music technology which means I have great recording and production skills as well as seasoned performance skills.

My most established genres are in soul, blues, funk Jazz and pop musical styles with some rock in there for good measure.

I have credits on a range of different works for different function from commercial releases to TV and film licensed music. My policy is around following the brief and providing passion in my playing.

I am happy to offer up to 2 revisions as part of my service and will offer stems fully comped at your service. The amount of tracks per song is negotiable upon consultation but I usually work on a song by song basis.
